A: Probate is the legal right to deal with someone’s property, money and possessions (their ‘estate’) when they die.

You should not make any financial plans or put property on the market until you’ve got probate.

NOTE: please check your own country’s Government website for precise details based on where you live.

A: Next of kin refers to a person’s closest living relative, who may have legal rights and responsibilities in matters of inheritance, medical decisions, and end-of-life arrangements. Within the context of Digital Legacy from Vaultsafe, we are referring to anyone who you may be wishing to leave something to.

A: Generally this would be a family member, your lawyer or someone else you know and trust.

A: Yes, you can nominate as many Executors as you feel you require.

A: Save passwords, Banking and insurance policies, Pension details, logins, Utility accounts, Key contact details, subscriptions, licenses, Wills, contracts, digital files and much more.

A: You can save as many records as you wish. There is no limit.

With regards to how many video / photos or digital files, this is based on the size of your account.

A: Yes, you can access your account from any device and add, remove or update anything at any time and from anywhere.

A: Please ask your Life Insurer, Pension provider, Will Writer or Bank if they can provide it for free to you as part of your account.

A: We suggest letting a few people you are close to know who the Executor to your Digital Legacy account is. You may wish to also include a note of your Executor in your written Will. This way you are fully covered.

Example…something happens to you, a contact notifies your Executor who can access your Digital Legacy account and manage probate and all other elements.

A: There is no software to download. You can access your account at any time, from any device and you’ll have immediate access anywhere you are in the world.
