CHECKLIST:

WILL – Specifies how your assets are distributed, names guardians for dependents, and should be regularly updated and witnessed.

Durable Power of Attorney – Appoints someone to make financial decisions if you are unable.

Living Trust – Names a trustee to manage and distribute property. 

Advance Directives / Living Will – Provides instructions for medical care if you cannot communicate your wishes.

Health Care Proxy – Designates someone to make medical decisions on your behalf.

Funeral Plan – Details your preferences for burial or cremation, type of service, music, readings, and speakers.

Prepaid Funeral Insurance or Plans – Ensures costs are covered and reduces stress for family.

Bank Accounts – Account numbers, branch details, and nomination information.

Investments – Mutual funds, fixed deposits, stocks, and bonds.

Insurance Policies – Life, health, and loan protection insurance, including policy numbers and claim instructions.
